You Can Stop Applauding Now

Well, we've finally decided to get off our asses and do something with this space. We'll be talking food here, mostly. Due to our complete lack of attention spans, no doubt other things will creep in to the conversation.

This will be, however, first and foremost a food blog. MB21 has actually been taught to cook, while I am mostly self taught. We don't consider ourselves to be gourmets, but rather gourmands. That is to say, for us, food is fun. It is an actual pleasure to eat (and, for me, to drink!), and we both consider the process of preparation as an extension of that pleasure. So what we're going to do here is welcome you into that experience with us. Hopefully you'll enjoy this as much as we already have.

Because You Don't Really Care...

and I don't really know, I'm not going to bother with some fanciful metanarrative about why I decided to set this up.

It's going to take a little while to get it up-and-running, and hopefully there will be a few more voices around here besides my own, because let's face it: no one really wants to hear what I have to see.
